Obituary for
Theodore A. Langmeyer
SHERBORN, MA: Theodore A. Langmeyer, 81, of Sherborn and a former longtime resident of Framingham, died peacefully in the presence of family on Saturday Sept. 1, 2018 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia M. (Goode) Langmeyer who passed in 1993.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Theodore and Henriette (Wildes) Langmeyer. A Marine Corps veteran, he served from 1956 until his honorable discharge as a Lance Corporal in 1961. Along with his late wife and his son, Mr. Langmeyer was the proprietor of Seaver's Flowers, a Framingham institution from 1972 to 2017. An antique and classic auto enthusiast, he was he was on the Board of Directors of the National Woodie Club, a founder of the Bay State Antique Auto Club, and member of the Antique Auto Club of America. He was a Life Member of the Framingham Elks Lodge, BPOE #1264 in Framingham.
He is survived by his son: Theodore F. Langmeyer, Sr. and his wife Colleen of Framingham; his daughter Denise (Langmeyer) Vestute and husband Roy of Yalaha, FL., 3 grandsons: Kyle Robert Langmeyer, Brent Austin Langmeyer and Theodore F. Langmeyer, Jr. all of Framingham; his siblings: Richard Langmeyer of Mashpee and Marjorie Maher of Gilbert, Arizona; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and a longtime friend: Jane McLellan.
Visiting hours are Thursday September 6th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A private service with burial at St. Stephen's Cemetery will be held at the family's convenience.
