Condolence: Mrs. Tyman, Please accept my deepest sympathy. Mr. Tyman, a true gentleman, had the brightest smile and jolliest laugh. Our BHS Class of '67 was lucky to have you both as advisors 50 years ago. I am thankful to have had you as friends since then. It's been my honor.

Condolence: Mrs. Tyman and extended family, please accept my condolences on the recent passing of your husband “Frank”.
I once read a book about President Kennedy titled “Johnny We Hardly Knew You” and today I am feeling those same feelings about the loss of your husband as I did when I was reading the book. It could be said that “Frank I hardly knew you”, but in bothcases I knew of you and President Kennedy through the lives of the people you supported. Mr. Tyman I vividly remember you in attendance at sporting events and student events, supporting your wife and her students. It was obvious to me even then in my youth, how much devotion you had to your wife and her life’s work. I also recall watching you at sporting events and realizing that you were as rugged as anybody on
the field yet as warm and kind as any athlete I had ever met.
These are my memories and although they have been buried in the memory bank of my life I am still able to feel the joy or glow that comes from remembering our past and those who made an impression on me.
You will certainly be missed by many as you and your team “Frank and Leslie” have completed your life’s mission.
You are a credit to “The Greatest Generation” and now you belong to the ages and the giver of life.
“Frank We Hardly Knew You”,
Godspeed may you Rest In Peace.

Condolence: I began to know Frank Tyman when he became a "second dad" to my class of Burlington High School students. He supported us through many years of our high school events and in later years as adults. I will never forget his beautiful smile and his encouraging words to all each time we met him. You will be missed, "Mr. Tyman" and I know you are resting in peace in God's arms. Thank you for bringing the love of life to those who knew you. Thank you for sharing your wonderful wife, Leslie, with us as our class advisor!
May your memory be eternal.
