FRAMINGHAM, MA - Michael E. Santini, 50, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Wednesday August 2, 2017 after sustaining injuries in a construction accident. Born in Newton, he was the beloved son of Michael H. and Constance J. (O'Brien) Santini.
A graduate of Keefe Tech's Auto Repair program in 1985, he worked for a time in that field before employment as a bartender both on Cape Cod and in Colorado. Mike was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams and will be remembered as an outdoorsman, enjoying skiing, hiking and mountain climbing. He was a proud member of the 27th Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps from 1982 to 1986, and also marched with the Blue Devils of Concord, CA in 1988, playing lead baritone for both Corps. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, and he most adored his role of the fun uncle to his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his 2 sisters: Diane M. Tibbert and husband Richard Cerullo of Walpole and Patty Higgins and husband Kevin of Framingham; his nieces and nephews: Justin Tibbert, Kasey Higgins, Nick Higgins and Emma Cerullo, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours are Monday August 7 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Avenue, Framingham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 221 Concord St., (Rte. 126) Framingham. Burial will follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove St., Framingham Centre.
